Cowtown 2018 Training Week 9

Cowtown 2018 Training Week 9

With the build-up to Christmas and the cold weather, it was hard to make myself do anything this week. I did manage to get one short run in, two Body Pump classes, and my Saturday morning long run.

I cut my long run short by a half mile, because the top of my foot started hurting. I gave it a chance to loosen up/stop hurting, but it didn’t, so I decided it was best to call it a day. It was possibly the coldest long run I have ever done. It was windy, and I possibly set a PR on the dam portion of the lake loop; I couldn’t get over it and back into the trees fast enough, but I did stop at the bottom long enough to snap this pic of the last of the “fall” color we’ll probably see this winter. All of the bridges were covered in frost, and I found a few slippery spots.
