Cowtown 2018 Training Week 3

I’m finally getting over my cold, but I’m still coughing. I had a meeting Monday night, so I wasn’t able to run. Tuesday, I did my usual morning Body Pump class, and then I had time to run after work. I do not like it getting dark so early. It was cloudy, cold, and windy, so it felt like a winter run. Wednesday’s weather was rainy and cold, and I didn’t get home until after dark, so I decided to push that run until Thursday. So, Thursday began with Body Pump, and I ran 3.1 miles at lunchtime. My legs were not happy. I’m going to try my best to avoid two workouts in a day again. Saturday morning, Aggie and I ran the entire lake loop, so we did 7 miles. I’m still way too slow, and my hips started hurting after 5 miles. I tried to stretch really well when I got home, showered, then donned my compression socks. That night I soaked in a epsom salt and essential oil bath, and I felt pretty good by Sunday.
